Just before the fall break, the Landeszentrale für politische Bildung (LpB) visited our school to put the 9a/3I and the AP English courses of Ms Pink and Mr Laisney to the test. Two students from the LpB ran a group quiz in each class, with questions ranging from general facts such as “How many people live in the USA?” to trickier topics such as “What is gerrymandering?” The students learned a lot and had some fun along the way. Now that they know more about how American politics works, we are all excited to see what the US midterm elections will bring!
